NEW BITCH TAKES CROWN

A showdown between the TV superbitches is brewing on Sons and Daughters.

The ratings show that Abigail, as Caroline Morrell, has taken Rowena Wallace's crown as television's soapie superstar.

But Pat the Rat will not take it lying down. She'll be back in the shape of Belinda Giblin to take on Abigail next month.

A spokeswoman for Seven said the series was getting some of its highest ratings yet.

"We've had some amazing episodes this year with Abigail and the ratings are higher than last year," she said.

Sons and Daughters' producer Posie Jacobs said today: "When Belinda joins next month they will become arch enemies and we've certainly got a lot planned."
